Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee network operations, installations, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
- Serve as a liaison between engineering teams, service providers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure smooth network operations.
- Track and manage network performance metrics, service-level agreements (SLAs), and fault reports.
- Maintain accurate documentation for network configurations, changes, and incident reports.
- Support the planning and rollout of new network infrastructure and technology upgrades.
- Troubleshoot and escalate network issues to the appropriate teams when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with telecommunications regulations, safety standards, and internal policies.
- Assist with vendor management including scheduling, contract adherence, and performance review.
- Maintain inventory of telecom equipment and ensure timely procurement and deployment.
- Collaborate with project managers on network expansion and modernization projects.
- Strong understanding of network components: routers, switches, base stations, transmission lines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and network management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Netcool, etc.).
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
