What You Will Do…
- Installs, configures, upgrades, administers & maintains software independently
- Designs, installs, troubleshoots, and maintains physical networking infrastructure
- Diagnoses, analyzes & resolves issues for customer(s) across assigned multiple technology domains
- Supports customers over the phone, remote desktop connection & in person
- Interfaces with other platforms from hardware &/or software perspective
- Travels to field offices
- The Primary Technology for this position is Endpoint Customer Support
- Starting hourly pay of $38.01/hr with multiple pay increases over your first 7.5 years of service, with an end salary of $55.80/hr.
- There may also be cost of living adjustments (COLA) applied. Longevity pay supplements begin after five (5) years of state service. For more details, refer to the OCSEA pay range schedule & longevity rates OCSEA Employees | Department of Administrative Services.
- Or completion of associate core program in computer science or information systems AND 30 mos. combined work experience in any combination of the following: installing, monitoring/maintaining, configuring, upgrading, &/or administering/operating multiple technology domains including 12 mos. work experience in the primary technology specified by the agency in the position description & job posting (Endpoint Customer Support).
- Or completion of undergraduate core program in computer science or information systems AND 24 mos. combined work experience in any combination of the following: installing, monitoring/maintaining, configuring, upgrading, &/or administering/operating multiple technology domains including 12 mos. work experience in the primary technology specified by the agency in the position description & job posting (Endpoint Customer Support).
- Or equivalent of minimum class qualifications for employment noted above.
