Network Security Engineer

Location: Australia

Responsibilities:

Responsible for deploying Network security products at customer sites, including tasks such as installation, configuration, administration, troubleshooting, and providing on-the-job training to expedite the customer ROI.

Requirements:

·Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role within a software/services company.

·Proficiency in Linux/UNIX environments.

·Hands-on experience with networking devices (e.g., switches, routers), including virtual routing and software-defined networking (SDN).

·Expertise in firewall administration and configuration (Checkpoint, Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper, Fortinet, etc.).

·Experience with Public Cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and understanding of Cloud security fundamentals.

·Ability to perform effectively under pressure, meeting deadlines, and handling business-critical situations.

·Strong customer orientation with the ability to build and maintain trust.

·Problem-solving skills, results-driven mindset, and a proactive "make it happen" attitude.

·Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.

·A collaborative team player with a pleasant demeanour and high integrity.

·Quick and self-learner with the ability to adapt.

·Willingness to travel Domestically and Internationally up to 20% of the time as needed

Advantages:
