Our client is a leading Managed Service Provider (MSP) delivering enterprise networking, cloud, infrastructure and cybersecurity solutions across a diverse customer base. Supporting organisations within Healthcare, Education, Government, Professional Services, Construction and other enterprise sectors, they deliver both managed services and large-scale digital transformation projects that help customers modernise and secure their IT environments.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Fortinet specialist to play a key role in designing, implementing and supporting enterprise network security environments across multiple customer engagements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and support FortiGate Firewall environments, including High Availability (HA) clusters.
• Configure and maintain FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer for centralised policy management and monitoring.
• Implement and support FortiSwitch and FortiAP deployments across enterprise environments.
• Design and deliver secure SD-WAN, IPSec VPN and site-to-site connectivity solutions.
• Configure routing, switching, VLANs and network segmentation following industry best practices.
• Support Azure-connected networking environments, including VPN connectivity.
• Perform firewall policy reviews, security hardening and network optimisation.
• Provide Level 3 technical support and act as the escalation point for complex networking issues.
• Assist with customer onboarding, infrastructure migrations and digital transformation projects.
• Produce technical documentation, network diagrams, implementation guides and operational runbooks.
• Follow formal change management processes and ensure production changes are reviewed and documented.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams and technology vendors to deliver successful customer outcomes.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience supporting enterprise networking environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiSwitch, FortiAP
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching and TCP/IP networking.
• Experience deploying High Availability (HA) firewall solutions.
• Experience implementing SD-WAN and IPSec VPN technologies.
• Strong understanding of VLANs, network segmentation and enterprise security best practices.
• Experience troubleshooting complex Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking issues.
• Experience working within a Managed Services environment.

Desirable Experience

• Fortinet NSE4 certification (minimum).
• NSE5, NSE6 or NSE7 certifications.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure networking, VPN Gateway or ExpressRoute.
• Exposure to Palo Alto, Juniper, Aruba or Ruckus networking technologies.
• Experience delivering networking solutions across multi-site enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust networking principles and security frameworks.
• CCNA, CCNP or equivalent networking certifications.
