Role Description The Director of Information Technology is a full-time, on-site role based in San Juan, responsible for leading the organization’s overall technology vision, strategy, and operations. This role oversees IT infrastructure, systems, and services to ensure reliability, security, and alignment with organizational goals. Daily responsibilities include managing IT staff, prioritizing and executing projects, monitoring system performance, overseeing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies. The Director will develop and implement IT policies and procedures, manage budgets and resources, and coordinate with clinical, administrative, and leadership teams to support effective use of technology across the organization. The role also involves assessing emerging technologies, planning for future growth, and leading initiatives that improve cybersecurity, data management, and user experience.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in IT Management and IT Operations, including oversight of teams, budgets, and technology projects.
• Strong foundation in Information Technology domains, with experience managing enterprise systems, infrastructure, and support services.
• Proficiency in Network Security, including implementation of security controls, risk management, and compliance with data protection standards.
• Ability to develop and execute IT Strategy that aligns technology investments with organizational objectives and long-term growth.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISSP, CISM, PMP) are preferred.
• Experience in healthcare, wellness, or related regulated environments, with familiarity in electronic health records and data privacy regulations, is highly beneficial.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across clinical and administrative teams.
• Proven ability to work on-site, prioritize multiple initiatives, solve complex problems, and drive continuous improvement in technology and processes.
