Security Administrator

Job Purpose:

Ensure the secure operation of the in-house computer systems, servers, and network connections by checking server and firewall logs, scrutinizing network traffic, establishing and updating virus scans and troubleshooting

Responsibilities:

Protecting 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G networks from signaling threats

Monitoring and investigating SS7, Diameter, and GTP security events

Analyzing MAP, CAP, Diameter, and GTP-C/U traffic

Tuning telecom signaling firewalls and improvig detection capabilities

Supporting roaming and interconnect security operations

Managing security incidents, performing root cause analysis, and preparing operational reports

Collaborating with Core Network, Roaming, and Fraud teams

Qualifications:

Strong understanding of SS7 security, Diameter security , GTP security, LTE/EPC security , and roaming security

Hands-on experience with telecom security platforms such as Mobileum, Cellusys, or Enea

Experience administering Fortinet, F5, A10, and Juniper SRX firewalls

Good knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, VPN/IPSec, High Availability, and traffic inspection

Familiarity with GSMA FS.07, FS.11, FS.19, and FS.20

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and incident response skills

Experience with Wireshark is a plus

3+ years of experience in Telecom Security Operations or a related telecom security role
