Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our customer technology team and support the design, implementation, administration, and optimization of enterprise infrastructure and network environments.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with network technologies, server infrastructure, virtualization, and security controls, ensuring the availability, performance, and reliability of critical systems supporting customer infrastructure.

You will work closely with security and application teams to maintain a secure, reliable, and scalable technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

Network Administration

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure.
• Configure, support, and troubleshoot:
• Routers
• Switches
• Wireless Networks
• Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues.

Infrastructure Management

• Manage and maintain network infrastructure.
• Support virtualization environments and infrastructure services.
• Perform network infrastructure upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management.

Security & Compliance

• Implement network security controls and industry best practices.
• Support vulnerability remediation and infrastructure hardening initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and regulatory requirements.

Monitoring & Operations

• Monitor network infrastructure availability, health, and performance.
• Investigate incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures.

Collaboration

• Work closely with security and application teams to support business operations.
• Participate in infrastructure projects and technology initiatives.

Documentation

• Maintain network infrastructure diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Document incidents, resolutions, and technical standards.

Required Qualifications

Experience

• 1+ years of experience in network and infrastructure administration.
• Experience supporting enterprise IT environments.

Networking Skills

• TCP/IP
• Routing & Switching
• VLANs
• VPN Technologies
• DNS
• DHCP
• Network Security

Basic Infrastructure Knowledge

• Windows Server
• Active Directory
• Virtualization (VMware or Hyper-V)
• Basic Infrastructure Security

Professional Skills

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Good communication and documentation abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience

• Hands-on experience with Routing (primarily BGP) and Switching.
• Experience with network monitoring tools.

• Fortinet Certifications (Preferred)
