Shift Requirements
- Monday to Friday, with Saturday flexibility required
- 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Test and evaluate a variety of consumer electronics, including smartphones, tablets, gaming products, wearable technology, and related accessories.
- Determine whether products are operational, defective, or require further inspection or repair.
- Process and accurately disposition devices through the appropriate workflow.
- Perform data wiping and factory resets while ensuring customer information is securely removed.
- Prepare devices for refurbishment, resale, recycling, or repair as required.
- Support additional technical service activities and special projects as assigned.
- Assist with device testing, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair processes.
- Conduct functional testing on returned, refurbished, and pre-owned electronics.
- Verify product quality and ensure units meet operational standards.
- Maintain compliance with privacy and data security requirements, including PIPEDA.
- Accurately document testing outcomes and system updates.
- Safely perform material handling duties involving products and equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Maintain organized work areas and adhere to established operational procedures.
- Utilize internal systems and tools to track workflows, testing results, and inventory movement.
- Minimum 6 months of experience in a service centre, repair depot, refurbishment facility, or similar technical environment.
- Minimum 6 months of experience testing, troubleshooting, or repairing consumer electronics.
- Experience working with mobile devices, tablets, gaming products, or other consumer technology is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of privacy and data protection requirements, including PIPEDA.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to consistently lift and move products weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent required.
- Consumer Electronics, Electronics Technology, Computer Studies, or a related technical program is considered an asset.

Base pay range
Hourly pay rate: $18.00 - $18.68
