Operations Engineer - Critical Environment

As a Critical Environments Operating Engineer at JLL, you'll be at the forefront of maintaining mission-critical infrastructure that powers supports our clients operations. What your day-to-day will look like:

• Executes racking, stacking, and cabling without supervision
• Performs structured cable dressing (vertical/horizontal)
• Verifies labeling accuracy and documentation
• Supports decomms and remediation work
• Assists with vendor supervision and validation
• Updates tickets / CMMS with accurate as‑built details

• 2+ years of hands-on experience working in a data center or critical facility environment
• OSHA‑30
• Fiber Handling & Cleaning
• Advanced Cabling Standards
• Rack Elevation & Documentation Reading
• Lift & Material Handling Certification (Provided by Client)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to document activities and communicate technical information clearly
• Working knowledge of computer applications including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Suite, and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
• Flexibility to work different schedules, including holidays, and respond to site emergencies as needed
• Ability to frequently walk, climb, bend, kneel, stoop, and work overhead in large campus-like settings

• Experience using CMMS work order management system
• Experience with critical infrastructure in mission-critical or 24/7 operational environments
• Previous experience in vendor management and contractor coordination
• CDCP or equivalent
