About the Role

We're looking for a talented NetOps Engineer to join a high-performing infrastructure and network operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about network automation, infrastructure as code, and modern operational practices.

You'll play a key role in automating network operations, improving platform reliability, and developing scalable solutions using Python, Ansible and APIs. Working alongside network engineers, platform teams and software developers, you'll help transform traditional network operations into an automated, software-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain network automation solutions using Python.
• Build and manage Ansible playbooks to automate network configuration and operational tasks.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs to streamline network management and orchestration.
• Automate provisioning, configuration management and network change activities.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise enterprise network infrastructure.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Support CI/CD pipelines for network automation projects.
• Produce high-quality technical documentation and operational procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve network reliability, scalability and performance.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong commercial experience in Network Operations (NetOps) or Network Engineering.
• Excellent Python programming skills.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible and infrastructure automation.
• Experience developing or consuming REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, routing and switching.
• Experience with enterprise networking technologies from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper or Arista.
• Knowledge of network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Familiarity with Git and version control.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work within cross-functional teams.
