Junior IT operations technician

Experienced, cohesive team with performance-based bonus is looking for a Junior IT operations technician for the Budapest location!

Your Responsibilities

• Support for the IT infrastructure on our sites and mines
• Assessment, identification, and documentation of network endpoints, cabling networks, and communication devices
• Support for the installation and operation of workstations, printers, peripherals, and network devices
• Management of user IT problems, ensuring first-level support
• Checking the status of IT and network devices, troubleshooting, and escalation to the relevant specialty
• Maintaining inventory lists, documentation, and assessment records up to date
• Participation in server maintenance, network maintenance, and database management tasks
• Collaboration in the implementation of international IT projects
• Regular site visits and on-site work execution
• Performing high-altitude work while adhering to safety regulations

Requirements

• Secondary education
• 1-2 years of experience
• Secondary education
• IT and networking knowledge
• Advanced level knowledge of Windows operating system
• Interest in network maintenance, server maintenance, and the IT infrastructure world
• Category B driver's license and confident driving practice
• Willingness to travel to the company's various locations
• Ability to work at heights
• Precise, independent work execution, handling administration
• Good problem-solving skills
• Active knowledge of English and/or German
