Network Engineer

Project specific intro:

Dive into OT Networking topics and join the team of professionals responsible for managing Siemens factories’ Production Area Network. Support the industry leading factories’ network by managing a highly available network.

You’ll make an impact by:

• With your contribution, you will support Siemens Factories accross Europe
• Manage the Siemens-developed Scalance switches, which are produced specifically for OT standards and requirements
• Be the responsible engineer for protecting the critical infrastructure with Cisco and Juniper Firewalls
• Dive deeper into AAA, using Cisco solutions
• Support of ITIL-based IT processes (Incidents, Service Requests, Change and Knowledge Management)
• Troubleshooting in a multi-vendor enviroment

Your success is grounded in:

• 2-3 years of experience with Cisco or Scalance switches
• Knowledge of Cisco, Juniper or OPNsense Firewalls
• Experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine
• Good problem solving skills
• Customer oriented approach and communication skills

You’ll stand out with:

• Knowledge of virtualization solutions such as Azure Local (Azure Stack HCI) or Azure cloud
• Experience with Linux based solutions for automatization or log collecting purposes
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Zabbix
• German language skills
