Checkpoint Firewall Engineer

• Duration of contract: undetermined
• Model of working: Hybrid: 3 days / week at Wipro office in Bucharest
• Schedule: standard schedule from Monday to Friday, also rotational on-call

Role & Responsibilities:

• Manage and support enterprise network security infrastructure.
• Administer and support Check Point Firewall environments.
• Manage Cisco Security technologies, including Firewalls, VPNs, and Cisco ISE.
• Support Citrix ADC (NetScaler) Load Balancers.
• Perform firewall policy administration.
• Manage and support VPN services.
• Support Cisco ISE and access control solutions.
• Resolve incidents related to network security infrastructure.
• Implement infrastructure changes and enhancements.
• Ensure security compliance requirements are maintained.
• Perform infrastructure optimisation activities.
• Support both project and BAU operations.
• Troubleshoot complex network security issues.
• Adhere to ITIL processes.
• Collaborate with global teams.
• Provide support in a 24x7 production environment.

Required Skills:

• 6+ years in Network Security and Firewall Administration.
• Hands-on experience with Check Point Firewall.
• Experience with Cisco Security technologies.
• Working knowledge of Citrix ADC / NetScaler Load Balancers.
• Experience in enterprise production environments and 24x7 support operations.
