Who we are looking for

We are seeking a Network Engineer to contribute to the operation, configuration, and optimization of network infrastructure (physical and virtual) within a complex environment focused on telecom and cloud services. The network environments managed by our team include switches and routers, primarily from Juniper, VMware networking managed via vCloud Director, SDN controllers (Juniper Contrail), firewalls such as Juniper SRX, and load balancers like F5 Big-IP.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Configuring and managing network equipment (switches, routers, firewalls)
• Operating and maintaining virtual networks (SDN / cloud networking)
• Troubleshooting Layer 2/3 issues and incident analysis
• Monitoring network performance and optimization
• Collaborating with internal teams and vendors
• Participating in infrastructure implementation and upgrade activities
• Providing technical support for the systems managed
• Participating in on-call activities; the team provides 24/7 support

The role involves working with:

• Juniper, Fortigate, Cisco, Arista, F5 equipment (firewall/routing/switching/load balancing)
• VMware networking (vCloud/vSphere/NSX)
• SDN (e.g., Juniper Contrail)

What you need to know / have:

• Experience in networking (routing, switching, TCP/IP)
• Knowledge of protocols: BGP, VLAN, VPN
• Experience with network equipment (Cisco / Juniper – an advantage)
• Experience in virtualized/cloud environments – an advantage
• Good troubleshooting and analysis skills
• Good command of English (French is a plus)
• Ideally, higher education in Telecommunications / IT / Electronics
