Sr Cisco Network Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an Sr Cisco Network Engineer for a FTE job with a client in Detroit MI (Onsite).

Rate Range: $120K-$125K; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Senior Network Engineer (Manufacturing)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and support secure enterprise network infrastructure in a manufacturing environment. This role will lead network initiatives, troubleshoot complex issues, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with IT and OT teams to ensure reliable, high-performing network operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain secure enterprise networks.
• Support manufacturing operations by identifying and delivering network solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and optimize performance.
• Mentor junior network engineers and establish network standards.
• Maintain network documentation, security baselines, and system upgrades.
• Collaborate with IT/OT teams and stakeholders on network projects.

Qualifications:

• CCNA certification required; CCNP preferred.
• Strong experience with enterprise networking in a manufacturing environment.
• Solid understanding of the OSI model, network security, and best practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and project management skills.
