We're looking for a skilled 3rd Line Network Engineer with strong Fortinet experience to join a growing Network infrastructure team.

You will be working for a growing business, that invests in its technology and people. You will be working in a regulated industry, delivering best in class network solutions.

This role will suit someone who enjoys getting hands-on with complex technical issues, taking ownership of escalations, and delivering reliable, secure network solutions across a varied environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Providing 3rd line support for network and security-related incidents.
• Managing and supporting Fortinet technologies, including FortiGate firewalls.
• Troubleshooting complex routing, switching and VPN issues.
• Delivering network upgrades, migrations and improvement projects.
• Ensuring network performance, availability and security are maintained to a high standard.
• Working closely with internal teams and stakeholders to resolve technical challenges.
• Producing and maintaining technical documentation.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in a 3rd Line Network Engineer or Senior Network Engineer position.
• Strong Fortinet knowledge, particularly FortiGate.
• Experience with BGP, OSPF, VLANs and VPN technologies.
• Solid understanding of network security principles and best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex issues independently.
• Clear communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Ideally you’ll have;

• Fortinet certifications.
• Experience with Cisco, Aruba or Juniper technologies.
• Exposure to Azure or AWS networking.
