VSPL-NOC Network Engineer (4–6 Years Experience)

We are looking for a Network Engineer with 4 to 6 years of experience in managing enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Cisco device configuration, a solid understanding of IP networking fundamentals, and practical experience with FortiGate firewalls and wireless network configurations. The role involves ensuring network availability, performance, and security across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure, implement, and maintain Cisco routers, switches, and related network devices
• Manage and troubleshoot LAN/WAN environments to ensure high availability and performance
• Perform network monitoring, analysis, and proactive issue resolution
• Handle basic firewall configuration, rule management, and access control policies
• Support wireless network configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting
• Diagnose and resolve network issues related to routing, switching, and connectivity
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco configurations (routing & switching)
• Solid understanding of IP networking concepts (TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs, DNS, DHCP)
• Working knowledge of routing protocols
• Basic firewall knowledge (policy creation, NAT, VPN concepts)
• Experience with wireless networking (AP configuration, SSID setup, security protocols)
• Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
• Good understanding of network security best practices

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications such as CCNP or equivalent (Cisco certification is optional)

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work in rotational shifts (24/7 support environment)
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
