Responsibilities
- Provide end-user support for Windows operating systems, ensuring timely resolution of hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Manage desktop device incidents through to resolution, adhering to agreed service levels.
- Deliver IMAC (Install, Move, Add, and Change) services and onsite deskside support.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, peripherals, and associated devices.
- Support the full lifecycle of desktop devices, including provisioning, deployment, maintenance, upgrades, and decommissioning.
- Perform desktop configuration, patch management, hardware replacements, and software installations using approved standards.
- Utilize ServiceNow or a similar IT Service Management (ITSM) platform for incident, request, and asset management.
- Deploy, manage, and maintain operating systems, software packages, updates, and patches using Microsoft SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) and Microsoft Intune.
- Provide technical support for Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, and other end-user computing (EUC) applications.
- Deliver remote support using enterprise remote management tools.
- Support and troubleshoot VPN connectivity, Microsoft Lync/Skype for Business (or Microsoft Teams), and mobile devices.
- Analyze Service Desk incidents to identify recurring issues, recommend process improvements, and suggest user training opportunities.
- Ensure all desktop devices are configured with the appropriate corporate image and comply with organizational standards.
- Monitor endpoint security, antivirus compliance, and implement corrective actions where required.
- Provide VIP/Executive deskside support and serve as the primary onsite IT contact when other support teams are unavailable.
- Administer and troubleshoot printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Active Directory, user accounts, group policies, and SCCM.
- Maintain accurate asset inventory, software deployment records, and reporting through SCCM.
- Collaborate with internal IT teams and vendors to ensure efficient service delivery and high customer satisfaction.
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Experience supporting macOS devices, iPads, and other tablets.
- Familiarity with enterprise endpoint management and security best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
