Junior Software Test Engineer

Ikotek is a specialized, USA-headquartered global provider of original design manufacturing (ODM) for IoT. We combine end-to-end design consultancy across program management, R&D, sourcing and production at our own manufacturing facilities to produce designs for our customers. Our role is to turn customers’ device dreams into IoT reality.

ON-SITE, Monday - Friday with flexible start between 7:30 - 9:30 AM.

We are looking for: Junior Software Test Engineer

Main responsibilities:

• Utilize testing facilities for manual and automated E2E IoT device testing, including 3GPP protocol testing, software client testing and application protocols, such as HTTP, FTP, MQTT, LwM2M, TR-069, CoAP, etc.
• Lab and field-testing activities for Ikotek prototype solutions to support customers based on their application requirements.
• Execute tailored test plans matching customer use cases in order to validate Ikotek designs.
• Provide technical support for testing Ikotek's full product line, including wireless, BLE, 5G, LTE, UMTS/HSPA(+), GSM/GPRS and GNSS devices.
• Perform troubleshooting activities, log analysis, bug correction in lab or field environment.
• Perform tests within the customer environment and SW infrastructure (platform, backend, if needed at customer location) to validate device performance upon final SW stack integration.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in communications, electronics, computer science and other related majors.
• Experience 1-3 years in IoT device testing.
• Willing to travel.
• Good presentation skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Conversational English skills.
