Your tasks
- Architecture: You conceive and design scalable, highly available, and multi-tenant cloud network infrastructures.
- Networking Expertise: You bring solid knowledge of the Linux Network Stack, IPv6, common routing protocols, and load-balancing technologies.
- Automation: You drive "Infrastructure as Code" (IaC) and automate the entire lifecycle of our products with tools like Terraform and Go.
- Troubleshooting: You are the expert for analyzing and resolving complex network problems, whether it's MTU issues or complex routing.
- Development: You work with the software engineering teams to define infrastructure requirements and provide the automation interfaces.
- Monitoring: You develop and maintain the monitoring, alerting, and capacity planning for the entire network infrastructure.
- Collaboration: You work in an agile team, proactively share your knowledge, and write code that stands out for its maintainability and good documentation.
- Education/Training: You have a degree in network technology, computer science, or a comparable qualification (e.g., IT specialist for system integration) with relevant professional experience.
- Networking Expertise: You have deep, multi-year experience with network protocols and technologies, especially Linux Networking, IPv6, BGP, IPSEC, Wireguard, and ideally know-how in setting up networks in a data center environment.
- Automation: You are a professional in network automation. "Infrastructure as Code" is a matter of course for you (e.g., with Terraform). And you can write scripts (e.g., in Go) for automation.
- Cloud Understanding: You have experience with cloud networking concepts (VPCs, Load Balancers, SDN) and ideally with open-source technologies (e.g., FRRouting).
- Software Affinity: You have a good understanding of CI/CD processes and APIs to work effectively with the software teams.
- You are a team player and feel at home in an agile team.
- Languages: You have good English skills.
