Role: Network Field Engineer

Job Details:

  • Scope of Work: Support for configuration of 1 Switch and 2 Access Points

Engineer Requirements:

  • Laptop
  • Console cable
  • Mobile phone with hotspot connectivity
  • USB stick (FAT32 format)

Scope of Work:

  • Provide hands-and-eyes support to the remote networking team.
  • Provide console access to the new switch using a mobile hotspot.
  • Assist with connecting the SFP transceiver and uplink cables after switch configuration.
  • Provide console access to the new Access Points for remote configuration.
  • Mount the configured Access Points onto the ceiling brackets.
  • Test Wi-Fi connectivity using the Emerson laptop (provided onsite).
  • Connect workstation LAN cables to the new switch.
  • Test LAN connectivity using the Emerson laptop connected to the switch.
