Mobile Network Engineers, Thailand

You'll be hands-on identifying and resolving issues in signalling firewall, SMS firewall, and roaming, and delivering tailored solutions and reports to improve network performance.

This position is open to local applicants with the legal right to work in Thailand. Home office based, with weekly meetings in Bangkok.

Responsibilities

• Configure firewall rules to defend against threats and prevent revenue leakage
• Optimise roaming services and apply steering rules
• Classify SMS traffic using signature-based detection
• Build and deliver custom reports based on network behaviour and performance
• Run regular health checks across hardware, OS, and firewall modules
• Respond to technical issues raised via tickets or direct requests
• Investigate and troubleshoot faults identified during checks or by operators
• Carry out penetration tests and honeypot validation exercises

• Bachelor's degree in ICT domain (Telecommunications preferable)
• At least 1 year of experience in Mobile Operator Core network CS/PS
• Strong knowledge of signalling protocols, Linux, Wireshark, and data tools such as Elasticsearch and Grafana
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• English proficiency (reading, writing, speaking)
• Comfortable working with servers in customers' data centres
