Network Engineer (Wireless & Corporate Networks)

Insight Global is seeking a Network Engineer (Wireless & Corporate Networks) to join a rapidly growing organization building large-scale infrastructure that supports next-generation technologies. This role requires 50% travel

What You'll Do

Own and manage corporate and wireless networking across multiple offices and operational sites.

Design, deploy, and support enterprise Wi-Fi solutions for challenging RF environments including industrial facilities, warehouses, construction sites, and data center environments.

Build and maintain reliable campus LAN and remote access networking solutions that provide seamless connectivity for end users.

Drive network automation initiatives through infrastructure-as-code, configuration management, and zero-touch provisioning methodologies.

Lead network onboarding activities for new offices and sites, ensuring reliable, scalable connectivity from day one.

Perform wireless site surveys, validations, and troubleshooting to optimize coverage and performance.

Partner with cross-functional teams to standardize network architecture and operational processes.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve network performance, security, and reliability.

Develop documentation, standards, and best practices to support scalable network operations.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

5+ years of experience supporting and administering enterprise corporate networks.

Experience owning wireless networking environments across multiple locations.

Strong knowledge of enterprise Wi-Fi design, deployment, and optimization.

Hands-on experience conducting wireless surveys and validating RF performance.

Experience with campus LAN, routing, switching, VLANs, and enterprise network infrastructure.

Strong troubleshooting skills across wired and wireless environments.

Experience automating network deployments, configurations, or operational tasks.

Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects from design through implementation.

50% travel to Deployment Sites

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Experience supporting industrial, warehouse, manufacturing, data center, or other complex RF environments.

Familiarity with Network Access Control (NAC) platforms.

Experience with SD-WAN technologies.

Exposure to Zero Trust networking initiatives.

CWNA, CWDP, or other relevant networking certifications.

Scripting and automation experience using tools such as Python, Ansible, or similar technologies.
