Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Senior System Engineer role based in Syracuse, NY. In this position, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing IT systems to meet client requirements. You will provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support for a variety of systems while collaborating with clients and internal teams to create innovative solutions. Daily responsibilities include performing system administration tasks, enhancing system performance, and ensuring the reliability and security of IT infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Systems Engineering, Systems Design, and creating scalable and reliable IT infrastructures.
• Strong skills in Troubleshooting and System Administration, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues effectively.
• Experience providing Technical Support and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Excellent understanding of IT best practices, including security, network design, and system optimization.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
• Professional certifications in relevant systems and technologies (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, VMware) are highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Well Rounded understanding of IT Systems
• Experience deploying and Troubleshooting Cisco and Meraki networks
• Experience deploying and Troubleshooting physical servers and virtualization softwares such as VMWare and Hyper-V
• Strong knowledge and understanding of Networking concepts, DNS, DHCP, AD, etc

Preferred Certificatons:

• CCNA or higher - CCNP preferred
• VMWare VCP
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
• Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate
