We are seeking an experienced Network Security Administrator to support secure and compliant network operations for the State of Colorado. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Palo Alto and Cisco ASA firewalls, firewall administration, network security, incident management, and infrastructure support.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Palo Alto Firewalls (Policies, Zones, NAT, Site-to-Site VPN)
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco ASA Firewalls
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, Routing, Subnetting, and the OSI Model
- Experience with firewall change requests, incident handling, and change management
- Knowledge of IRS, FBI, CJIS/CJI security compliance standards
- Experience with network troubleshooting and security operations
Preferred Skills
- Government or public sector experience
- Palo Alto or Cisco Security certifications
- Experience with network monitoring tools and infrastructure refresh projects
