About the Role:

Responsible for implementation and support of complex Telco grade solutions. Working with peers and key-stakeholders to successfully productionize, deploy and maintain platforms in both private and public cloud.

Day to day you will be involved in:

• Working with Spark and Partner teams for Hardware commissioning and pre-work.
• Review Advance Cluster Manager (ACM) policies and localise to meet solution requirements
• Deploy OSP/OCP clusters using ACM
• Assist with Application teams with workload onboarding and troubleshooting
• Undertake platform and workload solution testing
• Support and troubleshooting

What experience you'll bring? Core

• Strong Unix / Linux background (including command line), ideally working in an enterprise or telecommunication environment.
• Expert level experience on the following technology platforms.
  • Redhat OpenShift Kubernetes v4.x
  • Redhat OpenStack Director Operator implementation
  • Redhat OpenStack Traditional deployment model
• Proven automation and Infrastructure and Code (IaS) code and policy development using tools including
  • Redhat Advance Cluster Manager (ACM)
  • Redhat Advance Cluster Security (ACS)
  • Ansible
  • Python
• A solid understanding of network switching and routing concepts, including OVS & OVN virtual switch technologies.
• Ability to independently plan, execute and troubleshoot complex deployments and updates using above referenced solutions
• Outstanding analytical ability and problem-solving skills

Additional:

• Certification - RHCE, Red Hat Certified Specialist in Cloud Infrastructure, Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration or equivalent experience.
• Solid understanding of telco workloads, particularly 5G and 4G.
