Junior SIEM Engineer

We are seeking a motivated Junior SIEM Engineer to join our team and support the operation and continuous improvement of SIEM technologies within a SOC environment. This is a hands-on technical role focused on supporting SIEM platform operations, log source onboarding, log collection troubleshooting, documentation, and platform health monitoring across enterprise customer environments. The position is ideal for someone at the beginning of their cybersecurity career, with strong technical curiosity, analytical thinking, and willingness to learn and grow in a cybersecurity engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily operation of SIEM platforms.
• Assist with the onboarding and integration of new log sources and technologies.
• Help investigate log collection and configuration issues.
• Monitor SIEM platform health and escalate issues when needed.
• Maintain technical documentation, onboarding procedures, and troubleshooting notes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Networking, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in cybersecurity, IT operations, SOC, Ιnfrastructure Support, or a similar technical role would be a plus.
• Basic understanding of SIEM, log management, and cybersecurity monitoring concepts.
• Basic knowledge of Windows, Linux, and networking.
• Familiarity with security tools, log collection, scripting, or cloud technologies will be considered an advantage.
• Analytical mindset and willingness to learn.
• Good communication skills in Greek and English.
