Network Engineer

The Network Engineer position is full time and permanent, based in West Attica.

Responsibilities

In this Network Engineer role, you will be at the heart of technical operations, ensuring seamless connectivity and optimal performance:

• Configure, physically install, and troubleshoot Cisco Switches to maintain peak network health.
• Handle day-to-day, straightforward tasks within Cisco ACI and Identity Services Engine (ISE) environments.
• Drive network projects forward, focusing deeply on Layer 2 functionalities.
• Tackle troubleshooting challenges across Fortigate and Checkpoint firewalls, as well as occasional router support.
• Monitor dedicated servers that manage industrial access points to ensure maximum uptime.
• Actively participate in crucial network upgrades and infrastructure enhancements.
• Provide reliable end-user support to resolve network-related issues promptly.

Qualifications

To excel as a Network Engineer in this position, you should possess the following technical skills and experience:

• Hands-on experience with Cisco Switches, including configuration, physical installation, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Cisco ACI and ISE, with the ability to comfortably perform basic tasks.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, particularly focused up to Layer 2.
• Exposure to security and routing tools, specifically troubleshooting experience with Fortigate, Checkpoint, and routers.
• Capability to monitor and manage servers controlling industrial access points.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and a readiness to support users and jump into urgent upgrades.

Experience

• Previous experience in a similar role, with Cisco technologies
