Key Responsibilities
- Monitor SCADA and communication networks to ensure reliability, uptime, and performance.
- Maintain and configure routers, switches, firewalls, and related network devices.
- Diagnose and resolve connectivity, hardware, software, and network performance issues.
- Respond to network outages and coordinate restoration activities with relevant teams.
- Support the integration of SCADA and control systems with communication infrastructure.
- Maintain records of network configurations, incidents, maintenance activities, and system changes.
- Ensure compliance with network security, data protection, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical support for network issues affecting power control operations.
- Monitor operational KPIs and support process improvements.
- Guide team members and ensure work is completed according to approved procedures.
- Perform other duties assigned by the line manager.
Qualifications
- Technical High School Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience
- 0–4 years of experience in network management, control systems, SCADA, or high-availability network environments.
- Hands-on experience in network infrastructure support and troubleshooting is preferred.
