Network Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor SCADA and communication networks to ensure reliability, uptime, and performance.
• Maintain and configure routers, switches, firewalls, and related network devices.
• Diagnose and resolve connectivity, hardware, software, and network performance issues.
• Respond to network outages and coordinate restoration activities with relevant teams.
• Support the integration of SCADA and control systems with communication infrastructure.
• Maintain records of network configurations, incidents, maintenance activities, and system changes.
• Ensure compliance with network security, data protection, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical support for network issues affecting power control operations.
• Monitor operational KPIs and support process improvements.
• Guide team members and ensure work is completed according to approved procedures.
• Perform other duties assigned by the line manager.

Qualifications

• Technical High School Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience

• 0–4 years of experience in network management, control systems, SCADA, or high-availability network environments.
• Hands-on experience in network infrastructure support and troubleshooting is preferred.
