Job Title: Network Engineer

Location: Muscat, Oman

Duration: Permanent

Description:

Responsible for keeping the organization network up-to-date and operating as intended. The network Engineer responsible to coordinate and connect the different systems and make sure it is working smoothly.

Roles & Responsibilities:

· Perform the Data Centre routine activities, as per industry norms.

· Monitor IT Hardware & IT Network infrastructure.

· Implementation & monitoring of organizational Network.

· User provisioning and de-provisioning including Identification, authentication, and authorization to create, modify, lock, unlock or disable user/group accounts.

· Password management, for IT resources of Client.

· Configure Antivirus, firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, inter-locations access.

· Proprietary & Confidential

· Change, modify, update rule sets in Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Unified Threat Management systems, DLP devices.

· Manage Virtual Servers connections and SAN storage

· Change, modify, update rule sets in Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Unified Threat Management systems, DLP devices.

Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in networking or any information technology-related speciality.

Experience:

· 3-5 experience in networking

· Certifications in ITIL Foundation, CCNA and CCNP mandatory.

· Good communication skills in English language
