Job Description
The infrastructure department of our global network team is seeking a Network Administrator who can bring their expertise to life in our dynamic team of gaming & tech enthusiasts.
As Network Administrator, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining IT solutions and services as well as proposing improvements and optimisations to the current infrastructure. As a senior administrator, you will also be responsible to solve complex issues brought to us by our partners
Mission
Key tasks related to the mission include:
- Install and maintain various network equipment, including switches, routers, firewalls and load balancers;
- Deploy and maintain private network links and dedicated peering;
- Assist in evaluating new requirements, technical design and standards;
- Participate to the definition of standards, guidelines, best practices and metrics as directed;
- Drive adoption of automation to enhance operational efficiency and consistency
- Monitor and troubleshoot network infrastructure and services;
- Enforce network security policies and procedures;
- Perform proactive network capacity management activities;
- Maintain documentation regarding network hardware and software;
- Assist in evaluating new requirements, technical design and standards;
- Answer user’s query and service requests;
- Act as a mentor and point of reference within the team, particularly with new administrators;
- Contribute to the planning of the evolution and expansion of the network & systems;
- Optimize network performance;
- Carry out all other related tasks.
- Extensive experience as a Network Administrator
- Expert level in routing technologies such BGP and OSPF;
- Expert level in switching technologies such as as VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, VTP, and Layer 2/Layer 3 switching protocols
- Expert level in developing techniques and methodologies to resolve unprecedented problems or situations
- Good Linux environment knowledge
- Strong expertise in automation using Python and Ansible, with hands-on experience in CI/CD pipelines
- Good understanding of other infrastructure concepts like Cloud Network knowledge ( AWS,AZURE)
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management
- Ability to make complex information accessible and understandable.
- Demonstrates critical thinking and proactively flags governance or prioritization concerns to maintain operational clarity and focus.
- Honesty, integrity and confidentiality must be always maintained.
- Have great interpersonal communication skills
