A market-leading critical infrastructure operator in Zurich is hiring a Data Centre Engineer to keep hyperscale, enterprise and colocation environments running at full tilt. Good money, proper training budget, and a clear route up in one of Europe's strongest data centre markets.

About the role

You'll join the operations team at a live production facility, looking after servers, network hardware, cabling and the systems that keep everything online. Plenty of variety: one day you're racking and commissioning new kit, the next you're diagnosing a faulty PSU or handling remote hands for a hyperscale customer. You'll work alongside network engineers, facilities teams and vendors, with real ownership of your patch.

What you'll be doing

• Rack, stack and commission servers, storage and network equipment
• Diagnose and swap faulty components: CPUs, memory, drives, PSUs, NICs
• Install and maintain structured copper and fibre cabling
• Provide remote hands support for enterprise and hyperscale customers
• Respond to incidents within SLA and carry out planned maintenance
• Keep asset records and documentation tidy

What we're looking for

• Experience in a live production data centre environment
• Solid hands-on skills with enterprise server hardware (Dell, HPE, Lenovo or Cisco)
• Structured cabling and fibre experience
• Good troubleshooting instincts and clear communication
• Fluent English (German a bonus, not a requirement)
