Senior Network & Infrastructure Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Design & Infrastructure Engineer to take a leading role in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting enterprise-level network solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking, routing protocols, secure connectivity (VPN, SD-WAN), and application layer protocols. This role requires strategic thinking, hands-on configuration skills, and the ability to work across departments to ensure high network performance, resilience, and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable network architectures (L2/L3, SD-WAN)
• Troubleshoot complex network issues across physical, virtual, and cloud infrastructure
• Configure and manage Layer 2/3 switches, routers, firewalls, and VPN gateways
• Monitor and fine-tune routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and static routing
• Implement and support VLAN segmentation, DHCP services, and IP schema design
• Ensure secure network operations using protocols like SSH, SNMP, and VPN standards
• Support and monitor critical application layer protocols (e.g., SNTP, HTTP/S, DNS)
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of network topology, changes, and procedures
• Collaborate with security teams to apply best practices and policy enforcement

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of professional experience in enterprise network design and support
• Deep hands-on knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, VLAN, VPN, L2/L3 switching and routing
• Strong understanding of SD-WAN architecture and deployment
• Proficient in configuring and troubleshooting BGP, SNMP, SNTP, and SSH
• Experience with network monitoring tools and protocols (e.g., NetFlow, Syslog, SNMP traps)
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex networking issues quickly

Excellent documentation, communication, and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in hybrid (on-prem + cloud) network environments
• Exposure to high-availability environments and disaster recovery planning
