System Analyst

🖥️ We're Hiring: Systems Administrator (Infrastructure, Virtualization, Network & Backup Systems)

We're looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to support and optimize our enterprise IT infrastructure. This role is responsible for managing servers, virtualization platforms, network infrastructure, firewalls, storage environments, and backup systems that keep critical business operations running securely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in systems administration, networking, virtualization, and cybersecurity, along with a passion for maintaining highly available and reliable IT environments.

Hybrid position | 3 days in office, 2 days from home

Office located in Escazu and will be moved to AFZ in January 2027

English is necessary for this positions and all interviews will be conducted in English

Mandatory Skills

• 2+ years of experience in systems administration and infrastructure support.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Experience administering virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, or Nutanix.
• Experience supporting enterprise networking, firewalls, VPNs, and backup/disaster recovery solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and support Windows and Linux server environments.
• Manage core infrastructure services including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
• Administer virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere and Hyper-V, including migrations, upgrades, and high-availability configurations.
• Configure and support enterprise network infrastructure, including switches, routers, VLANs, wireless networks, and routing technologies.
• Manage enterprise firewalls and VPN solutions while implementing security policies and access controls.
• Administer backup and disaster recovery solutions, ensuring successful backup validation and recovery testing.
• Monitor system, network, and infrastructure performance while troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
• Support cybersecurity initiatives, infrastructure projects, vendor coordination, and escalated technical support activities.
