Gaming Systems & IT Specialist

Job Summary

A confidential organization is seeking an experienced IT & Gaming Systems Specialist to support the technology requirements of a private household in Abu Dhabi.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing high-end gaming systems, computer hardware, network infrastructure, servers, Wi-Fi connectivity, and digital entertainment platforms within a private environment.

This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical expertise, excellent troubleshooting abilities, attention to detail, and a high level of discretion. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for gaming technology and the ability to deliver a seamless, high-performance technology experience.

Key Responsibilities

Gaming Systems & Hardware

• Build, configure, maintain, and optimize high-performance gaming PCs and systems.
• Benchmark and fine-tune gaming systems to achieve optimal performance and stability.
• Manage thermal performance, power delivery, component compatibility, and system optimization.
• Conduct regular system maintenance, including deep cleaning, diagnostics, benchmark testing, firmware updates, and hardware upgrades.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, peripherals, and gaming-related technical issues.

Network & Connectivity

• Manage and maintain LAN infrastructure to ensure reliable and low-latency connectivity.
• Optimize Wi-Fi coverage and performance, including wireless mesh networks.
• Monitor network performance, connectivity, bandwidth, and latency.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues.

IT Infrastructure & Systems

• Maintain and troubleshoot home/estate technology infrastructure.
• Configure and manage VPNs, firmware, backups, and security solutions.
• Ensure systems are regularly updated, secure, and operating efficiently.
• Support the integration and maintenance of digital entertainment and media systems.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment, configurations, warranties, and technical requirements.

The Ideal Candidate

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in IT, gaming systems, computer hardware, or a similar technical environment.
• Strong practical knowledge of high-end gaming PCs, hardware components, and gaming platforms.
• Excellent understanding of networking, Wi-Fi optimization, LAN infrastructure, latency, and QoS.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Microsoft environments.
• Experience with VPNs, cybersecurity best practices, firmware management, and system updates.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networking.
• Genuine passion and strong knowledge of PC gaming and online gaming.
• Customer-focused approach and previous experience providing direct technical support to individuals or VIP clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a confident and professional personality.
• Methodical approach to troubleshooting with strong attention to detail.
• Proactive, flexible, and able to respond to technical requirements outside standard working hours when required.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Exceptional confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism are essential due to the private nature of the environment.
