Description
- Responsible for analysis, design, support, development and reengineering of database structures in Sybase, SQLServer and DB2.
- Provide performance analysis and tuning, troubleshooting, capacity planning, benchmark design.
- Design methodologies for data synchronization from operational data stores Design methodologies for data synchronization from various operational data stores (Mainframe DB2, Windows SQL Server, Sybase on Solaris, DB2 on AIX and OpenShift) to a zLinux DB2 data warehouse.
- Planning, interfacing, and usage between z/OS and LUW DB2 application databases, data warehouse, Cognos, Identity Insight, and DataStage.
- Act as liaison between Data Management, business customers, and application development staff to ensure that recommended performance considerations are included in reviews, designs, development, and implementation of applications.
- Create cost effective and timely solutions to strategic business requirements utilizing database structures, application methodologies, and coding techniques.
