Technology Infrastructure Lead | Subiaco | Corporate

  • Key responsibilities of role include coordinating technology infrastructure projects, maintaining secure and reliable systems, managing vendors and stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement across cloud, network and end-user services.


The Role


The Technology Infrastructure Lead will work with suppliers and stakeholders across the business to coordinate the maintenance, installation, reporting, documentation, design and lifecycle management of technology infrastructure projects, services and activities to support the organisation in meeting its strategic and operational objectives. The role supports the delivery of secure, reliable and resilient infrastructure, cloud services, networks and end-user technology environments across corporate and operational sites.


This position reports to the Technology Operations Manager and will be based at our Perth Head Office.


About You


To succeed in this role, you are a highly organised and proactive technology infrastructure professional with strong stakeholder management skills, a collaborative approach and the ability to coordinate complex infrastructure projects and operational activities across multiple sites.


Our ideal candidate will have:


  • Minimum 5 years' experience in infrastructure, systems, networking, or technology operations, including experience in multi-site or enterprise environments.
  • A bachelor's degree in information technology or other related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure technologies, including servers, storage, networking, cloud services, telecommunications, and cybersecurity.
  • Proven ability to coordinate technical teams, contractors, vendors, and business stakeholders to achieve project and operational objectives.
  • Strong understanding of networking principles, including LAN, WAN, wireless, fibre optic, and telecommunications infrastructure.
  • Excellent organisational, planning, and time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to deliver outcomes within agreed timelines.
  • Ability to develop, maintain, and review technical documentation, standards, procedures, and operational records.
  • Technical knowledge of Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure, and related cloud technologies.


It would be beneficial if you have:


  • Experience within the mining, resources, construction, or heavy industrial sectors.
  • Previous experience supporting operations across Africa or other remote and geographically dispersed locations.
  • Working knowledge of French (written and verbal).
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud service administration.
  • Experience with Cisco networking technologies.
  • Experience with Fortinet networking and security platforms.
  • Knowledge of wireless technologies, including Wi-Fi, point-to-point radio, VHF, and UHF communications systems.
  • Understanding of fibre optic infrastructure, structured cabling, and telecommunications standards.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, risk management principles, and security compliance requirements.
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Demonstrated leadership experience coaching, mentoring, and developing technical personnel.


Where you’ll be working


This position is based in Perseus’s Subiaco office, with a corporate team of roughly 60 employees and growing. You’ll join a small corporate team, allowing for close interactions across all departments and levels of the business.
