You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with a leading European mobility services provider, headquartered in Germany and backed by nearly 90 years of expertise. As part of this journey, you’ll contribute to the launch of a new Tech Hub in Porto, helping to drive innovative, technology-led solutions that are transforming how businesses move while contributing to a more sustainable future.
YOUR ROLE
- Own and govern the Core Data Model and Gold Layer, ensuring a consistent, business-oriented data foundation.
- Define and maintain core business entities, shared dimensions, facts, and metrics across the organization.
- Transform fragmented source data into trusted, reusable, and decision-ready data products.
- Establish and enforce data modeling standards, conventions, and architectural best practices.
- Ensure semantic consistency across domains, preventing duplication and conflicting definitions.
- Act as the design authority for core data models, shared entities, and enterprise metrics.
- Balance business needs with long-term data platform scalability, maintainability, and governance.
- Prevent the proliferation of siloed, team-specific models by promoting a unified enterprise data architecture.
- Expertise in Core Data Model and Gold Layer governance.
- Strong background in data modeling, business entities, dimensions, metrics, and semantic consistency.
- Experience defining modeling standards, data architecture principles, and governance frameworks.
- Proven ability to act as a design authority for shared data models, ensuring consistency across multiple domains and teams.
- Strong focus on data quality, reusability, scalability, and long-term maintainability of enterprise data platforms.
- Deep knowledge of Snowflake, dbt, SQL, and Python.
- Strong understanding of modern data architectures (Data Lakehouse and Data Mesh).
- Experience with Azure, Spark, and Kafka.Ability to govern shared data assets while ensuring scalability, consistency, and maintainability.
- Familiarity with AI/ML ecosystems, data security, and cloud governance.
