As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behaviors, and ensuring the smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous monitoring, collaboration with different teams, and delivering timely solutions to maintain system reliability and performance in a dynamic business environment.

Data Architect JD :

We're building a real-time agentic AI platform that proactively manages Jio's customer onboarding experience across 400M+ subscribers. The Data Architect will own the data foundation that every agent decision is made against - from the hot Redis context layer to the bitemporal Postgres audit store to the ADF pipelines that feed historical signal into the system. This is not a reporting or warehousing role. This is data infrastructure for a live, decision-making AI system.

What He'll Do

Design and own the Unified Customer Context Store - the always-fresh customer profile that agent orchestrators hydrate at runtime

Define the multi-tier storage architecture - Redis hot layer, Postgres durable store, and the projection layer bridging them

Build ADF pipelines ingesting signals from call centres, network diagnostics, billing, app interactions, and CRM

Own the event streaming layer enabling real-time signals (speed drops, SR creation, device events) into the agent platform

Define data contracts between source APIs and the agent layer - schema, latency SLAs, and degraded-mode behaviour

Design the learning and feedback data layer - capturing agent decision outcomes and human override signals for continuous improvement

Ensure compliance with TRAI data residency and privacy requirements

Required Skills

Skill What's Expected

Redis HASHes, ZSETs, TTL policies, key hierarchy design, eviction strategy, cache-miss fallback

Postgres Bitemporal modelling, immutable audit tables, projection/read-model patterns, high-write indexing

Event Streaming Kafka or Azure Event Hubs - topic design, consumer groups, exactly-once semantics, backpressure

Azure Data Factory Pipeline design, trigger patterns, near-real-time ingestion, monitoring

API Integration REST and SOAP data mapping, telco-grade APIs (CRM, Billing, Network)

Real-time Architecture Multi-tier data design, latency/consistency trade-offs, data freshness at scale

Data Modelling for AI How LLM agents consume structured state - context assembly, agent reasoning vs. storage

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
• Lead efforts to streamline communication and coordination among cross-functional groups to enhance problem resolution efficiency.
• Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and guiding them through complex technical challenges.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of system integration and data flow management within enterprise environments.
• Experience in troubleshooting complex software issues and performing root cause analysis.
