Explored & Understood: Deeply assess business and technical needs, capturing all requirements across workloads, infrastructure, and operations.
Architected & Designed: Translate customer goals into scalable, resilient architectures that leverage Cohesity’s capabilities to their fullest potential.
Delivered & Adopted: Ensure solutions are successfully implemented, drive adoption, and position the account for long-term success and expansion.
This position needs to be an expert on the core Cohesity product capabilities. Expertise in data center design and practices -- as well as data protection, cyber-security, and solutions at web scale -- are essential.
HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE:
- Serve as the strategic technical leader for assigned accounts, influencing both technical strategy and business outcomes.
- Present Cohesity technology (deep dive) to customer executives, technical leaders/experts and explain how it is applied in various use-cases/scenarios
- Conduct discovery workshops with the customer to identify business objectives, document use cases/requirements, and operational constraints
- Develop high-level architectural alternatives, review with customers, and deliver (written) design plans to meet the customer's needs (especially “at scale”) and includes considerations of special phases of the project (e.g. migration, operational cut-over) for Cohesity implementation teams to follow
- Help plan and conduct technical demos and Proof of Concepts (POCs) with the account SE
- Provide technical information for RFPs/RFIs
- Provide technical review for all account team proposals
- Liaison with Product Management and Engineering to represent customer/field requirements and resolve specific issues
- Lead cross-functional “tiger teams” to address strategic customer challenges and opportunities.
- Mentor SEs and other technical team members to raise the bar for technical excellence in your region.
- Act as technical point of escalation for all architectural and design decisions
- Act as a leader in your territory and across the FTD squad
- Drive results leading product focused cross-functional teams
- 15+ years of experience in IT
- Storage, Backup, Virtualization, Linux CLI
- Cyber-security & Cyber Resilience
- Additional experience highly desirable:
- Disaster Recovery/Business Continuance
- Database Protection and Recovery
- Distributed Systems
- Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Layer 2 Networking and Firewalls
- Scripting / Automation
- Visio or equivalent application
- Excellent communication and project-related skills are also required
- Strong verbal communication/presentation skills
- Strong written skills and the ability to create documentation
- Self-starter with excellent organization and time management skills
- The ability to work cross-functionally and run meetings to achieve a plan
- The ability to manage projects and to drive to a deadline
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Expected Travel: Up to 60%
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support decision making.
- Must have English language proficiency (Can interact with a degree of fluency when speaking, reading, and writing in a professional and specialized setting).
Pay Range :
$220,800.00-$276,000.00
The compensation noted above is based on an annualized hourly rate assuming normal full-time employment.
Current pay transparency shows the OTE (On-Target Earnings) for commission-based roles.

Cohesity employees who are within a reasonable commute (e.g. within a forty-five (45) minute average travel time) work out of our core offices 2-3 days a week of their choosing.
