Now we’re looking for a Data Engineering Lead to join our founding team and help shape both our client work and the company we’re building.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Stockholm for a Data Engineering Lead joining Vantir’s founding team. You’ll take a leading role in designing and building modern data platforms, pipelines, and AI-ready infrastructure for our clients. You’ll work hands-on across architecture, implementation, and technical leadership, while also helping define how Vantir delivers world-class data and AI consulting. As part of the founding team, this is not just a delivery role. You’ll help shape our engineering culture, technical standards, ways of working, and the kind of company Vantir becomes.

What We’d Love to See in You

• You live in or near Stockholm.
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, analytics engineering, AI engineering, or similar.
• Strong experience designing and building modern data platforms, data pipelines, and production-grade data systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience with modern development practices.
• Experience with tools such as Snowflake, dbt, Databricks, Airflow, Spark, or similar modern data stack technologies.
• Ability to lead technical discussions, make architectural decisions, and guide other engineers.
• A pragmatic, business-oriented mindset and a passion for using data to create real impact.
