Staff Data Engineer

The Role

• Deliver end-to-end, full-stack data solutions across the complete data processing pipeline.
• Apply systems engineering principles to design, build, and operate scalable data pipelines.
• Collaborate with Data Architects to create conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Conduct data profiling, requirement analysis, and performance tuning throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Define and enforce best practice standards, certification processes, and metadata management policies for data objects.
• Advise on and design the integration of new data technology solutions into the enterprise IT environment.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency with data-mining and data-warehousing principles, database management systems, and query languages.
• Experience with Hadoop, Java, Python, SQL, Hive, and PIG for data exploration.
• Knowledge of DataOps processes and best practices, including data security and access control.
• Ability to assess methodological limitations and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Familiarity with cloud and distributed data platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) is preferred.
