About The Role

The position is integral to building, operating, and enhancing core technological capabilities that support the development and management of applications in a modern, efficient manner. The role involves providing expert consulting to business IT teams, focusing on leveraging platform services to deliver value rapidly and effectively. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring emerging technologies, designing and coding complex software solutions, and ensuring system integrity through thorough testing and deployment processes. This role demands a proactive approach to technology adoption, collaboration across teams, and a commitment to continuous improvement to meet organizational objectives.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a four-year college or university degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of five years of professional experience in IT is required, including at least two years in a relevant specialization and one year in team management. Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is essential. Candidates should have a solid understanding of database concepts, cloud environments (AWS, Azure), and experience working with platforms such as Oracle, SQL Server, AWS RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, or DocumentDB. Certifications in database or cloud technologies are advantageous. A demonstrated ability to work effectively across diverse cultures and participate in cross-functional projects is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Actively maintain and expand knowledge within specialized areas, providing detailed and accurate advice to support organizational planning and operations.
• Monitor external technological trends and emerging innovations, assessing their potential impacts, threats, and opportunities for the organization.
• Design, develop, verify, and test complex software programs, scripts, and integration services, ensuring adherence to standards and best practices.
• Contribute to the selection of appropriate software development methodologies, whether predictive or agile, to optimize project delivery.
• Design system components using modeling techniques, evaluate alternative options, and produce detailed specifications for system construction.
• Develop and maintain database architectures, assessing proposed changes and implementing designs that support transactional processing and business intelligence needs.
• Define and execute comprehensive testing plans, including designing test cases, analyzing results, and reporting issues to ensure quality and performance standards are met.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate system integration, configuration, and deployment, ensuring seamless operation across platforms.
• Manage and support software build processes, including configuration, testing, and release procedures, to ensure reliable and efficient deployment cycles.
• Monitor service delivery against established service level agreements, analyzing performance data, and initiating improvements as necessary.
• Coordinate release and deployment activities, ensuring adherence to schedules, quality standards, and documentation requirements.
• Lead and support team members by providing clear guidance, fostering a motivational environment, and facilitating skill development and career growth.
• Engage with key stakeholders across global IT and business functions to align technology initiatives with organizational goals.
