Senior Data Engineer - Dubai - Relocation Provided!

I’m working with one of the largest iGaming platforms in MENA, scaling their Data Platform team in Dubai and hiring a Senior Data Engineer to help build the next generation of their cloud data platform.

You’ll sit within the core BI & Data team, building and scaling production data infrastructure, and reporting directly to the Head of BI.

🔍 Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and platform infrastructure on GCP.
• Develop and optimise production data workflows using Python, SQL, Airflow and dbt.
• Design reliable, high-performance data platforms capable of supporting AI and analytics workloads.
• Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Drive engineering best practices across testing, monitoring, CI/CD and platform reliability.

✅ Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with GCP (BigQuery, Cloud Composer, GCS etc.).
• Expert-level Python and SQL skills.
• Commercial experience with Airflow, dbt and Terraform.
• Experience building scalable data platforms, streaming pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
• AI experience is mandatory (LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, GenAI or similar production AI workloads).
• iGaming or FinTech/ Crypto experience, is a massive bonus.

📍 Additional Information:

• Location: Dubai, this role will require relocation. My client adopt a remote first policy, however you can go into their Dubai based office as much as you like!
• Salary: 35,000 AED – 38,000 AED/month + a 10-30% performance related bonus.
• Relocation: Fully supported. Private medical insurance, VISA's and 2 weeks paid for in a hotel +flights for you and your family!
• Interview process: 3 stages, urgent hire.
