Position Summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior DataOps Engineer to drive the reliability, automation, and operational excellence of our modern data platform. This role focuses on building robust CI/CD pipelines for data, ensuring data quality and observability at scale, and enabling engineering teams to ship data changes safely and quickly using tools such as Snowflake, Dagster, Fivetran, Datafold, AWS, and Sigma

Experience And Required Skill Set:

• 7+ years of experience in DataOps, Data Engineering, or a related field, with a focus on operational and automation practices.
• Deep expertise in Snowflake administration, performance tuning, cost optimization, and security/access controls.
• Strong hands-on experience with Dagster (or similar orchestration tools) for building, monitoring, and maintaining reliable data pipelines.
• Experience managing Fivetran (or similar ELT tools) for automated data ingestion and sync monitoring.
• Proven experience implementing data quality, testing, and observability frameworks using
• Datafold or similar tools (e.g., anomaly detection, data diffing, SLA monitoring).
• Good working knowledge of AWS/Azure cloud services for infrastructure.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for automation, tooling, and pipeline development.
• Solid understanding of data governance, metadata management, and lineage tracking.
• Experience with incident management, alerting, and on-call practices for data pipeline reliability.
• Experience building and operating enterprise-grade modern data platforms with a focus on uptime, scalability, and self-service enablement.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/CloudFormation) for data platform provisioning.
• Experience integrating and supporting BI platforms such as Sigma, including access management and performance troubleshooting.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or master’s in computer science, Engineering, Software Engineering or a relevant field
