Architect

Architect role in a global organization responsible for designing scalable data and cloud solutions using AWS Cloud SQL data catalog and data integration capabilities. The role focuses on optimizing performance ensuring data reliability and enabling secure hybrid analytics platforms that empower business teams working with devices domain insights while operating in a day shift hybrid work model.

Responsibilities

• Design robust end to end data architectures on AWS Cloud that support complex analytics and operational workloads while ensuring scalability reliability and efficiency across hybrid environments
• Develop and refine data integration patterns that consolidate information from diverse enterprise and devices domain sources into unified and trusted data platforms
• Optimize SQL queries and database structures with advanced performance tuning techniques to deliver consistent low latency responses for critical business applications
• Implement secure data catalog solutions that standardize metadata management improve discoverability of data assets and enhance governance and compliance across the organization
• Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to translate strategic business requirements into practical data and cloud solution designs that deliver measurable outcomes for customers and society
• Establish best practices for data ingestion transformation and storage that balance performance cost and resilience while aligning to enterprise architecture standards
• Provide technical guidance to project teams on AWS cloud services SQL optimization methods and data integration tools to ensure solutions are robust maintainable and aligned with architectural principles
• Review and validate solution designs and implementation approaches to confirm adherence to nonfunctional requirements such as scalability reliability security and performance
• Create detailed technical documentation including architecture diagrams data flow specifications and configuration guidelines that support long term maintainability and knowledge sharing
• Drive continuous improvement of data platforms by evaluating emerging cloud and data technologies and proposing pragmatic enhancements that strengthen analytics capabilities and business agility
• Coordinate with operations and support teams to ensure smooth deployment monitoring and incident resolution for data and cloud solutions minimizing disruption to day shift hybrid users
• Advocate for responsible and ethical use of data by embedding privacy quality and governance considerations into every architectural decision thereby contributing to positive societal impact
• Collaborate within the hybrid work model using virtual and onsite interactions to maintain strong communication alignment and timely delivery of architectural outputs without requiring travel

• Demonstrate extensive experience in architecting solutions on AWS Cloud including design of compute storage networking and security configurations that meet enterprise standards
• Possess strong proficiency in SQL with hands on expertise in performance tuning indexing query optimization and schema design for high volume transactional and analytical workloads
• Show proven capability in implementing and managing data catalog platforms that organize metadata enable data lineage tracking and streamline user access to trusted datasets
• Exhibit solid experience in data integration using batch and real time patterns across heterogeneous systems ensuring reliable data movement transformation and reconciliation
• Bring practical understanding of devices domain data such as telemetry sensor readings and usage metrics and be able to incorporate these patterns into architecture designs as a desirable skill
• Apply advanced problem solving skills and structured thinking to evaluate trade offs between performance cost security and maintainability when defining solution architectures

AWS Certified Solutions Architect and certification in SQL or data engineering technologies preferred
