Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated FLEX Senior Software Engineer to drive performance optimization and scalability across enterprise APIs and platform services. This role focuses on ensuring reliability under high load, identifying performance bottlenecks, and implementing proactive monitoring and tuning strategies. The ideal candidate will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient, scalable, and high-performing digital solutions while continuously improving engineering practices and system performance.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of experience working on large-scale distributed or API-based systems using cloud based (AWS/GCP) architecture.
- Strong expertise in performance testing tools (NeoLoad, JMeter, Locust, K6) and monitoring platforms (Dynatrace, Prometheus, etc.)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps-integrated performance testing
- Knowledge of GraphQL, distributed systems, or resilience testing practices
- Serve as a performance engineering expert ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency of APIs and platform services
- Conduct performance testing, profiling, benchmarking, and tuning across distributed systems
- Analyze production performance issues and provide actionable optimization recommendations
- Design and implement performance frameworks, monitoring strategies, and dashboards
- Collaborate with product, architecture, and engineering teams to improve end-to-end performance
- Identify system bottlenecks, latency issues, and scalability risks across platform services
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for performance testing and analysis
- Drive performance best practices and provide technical guidance across teams
- Mentor team members and promote performance engineering knowledge sharing
- Partner with infrastructure and application teams to optimize performance and support production environments
- Ensure adherence to IT governance, standards, and performance engineering processes
- Escalate risks and proactively communicate performance-related concerns to stakeholders
