Project Description
We are seeking a highly skilled C++ Developer to join our Market Connectivity team, focused on building ultra-low-latency trading systems. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in C++, experience with exchange protocols, and a strong understanding of high-performance computing in financial markets.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize low-latency trading gateways and market access components.
- Implement exchange connectivity for global markets (e.g., NSE, BSE, CME, NYSE, etc.).
- Work closely with traders and business stakeholders to understand latency-sensitive requirements.
- Tune performance across CPU, memory, and network layers to achieve microsecond-level latency.
- Maintain and enhance existing trading infrastructure with a focus on reliability and scalability.
- Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to deploy and monitor systems in production.
Mandatory Skills
- 6–12+ years of hands-on experience in C++ development.
- Strong proficiency in modern C++ (C++17 or later) and multithreaded programming.
- Experience building high-performance, low-latency systems.
- Deep understanding of low-level systems programming, including memory management and CPU architecture.
- Experience with network programming (TCP/UDP, multicast) and Linux kernel internals.
- Familiarity with exchange protocols such as FIX, OUCH, and ITCH.
- Proven track record of developing high-performance, low-latency applications.
- Strong debugging and profiling skills using tools such as perf, gdb, and Valgrind.
- Hands-on experience with Linux and scripting (Shell, Python).
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Exposure to exchange connectivity and financial messaging protocols.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Desktop).
- Knowledge of Python and/or Java.
- Experience in financial markets, particularly market connectivity or high-frequency trading (HFT) environments.
- Familiarity with real-time monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
- Willingness to work from the office 3 days per week.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
