Project Manager Engineering (f/m/d)

The opportunity

Join Hitachi Energy as a Project Manager Engineering and lead the successful delivery of complex energy projects. In this role, you will coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities, drive technical excellence, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

How you'll make an impact

• Lead and coordinate engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure seamless collaboration across engineering disciplines, customers, suppliers, and consortium partners
• Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, and quality targets
• Support construction and commissioning teams with technical expertise
• Identify improvement opportunities and contribute to business growth
• Coach project team members and drive a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement

• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field
• Several years of experience managing engineering projects in the energy, infrastructure, or industrial sectors
• Strong project management, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex technical challenges
• Fluent in English; German is an advantage
• PMP, IPMA, PRINCE2, or similar certification is a plus
