Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance embedded firmware using VxWorks, C/C++, and U-Boot.
- Implement Power-On Self-Test (POST) functionality, including memory tests, ADC voltage/current checks, and checksum validation.
- Develop interrupt handlers and monitoring interfaces for system health diagnostics (voltage, temperature, current, power-good, reset signals).
- Work with embedded development tools such as Code Composer Studio, GitLab, Artifactory, Docker, and Python.
- Perform SOUP (Software of Unknown Provenance) analysis and follow regulated SDLC and documentation processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional hardware, firmware, and systems engineering teams to deliver reliable embedded solutions.
Required Skills:
- 7–10 years of embedded firmware/software development experience.
- Strong programming skills in C/C++.
- Hands-on experience with VxWorks, U-Boot, Embedded Linux, and bare-metal development.
- Experience with Git, Docker, Python, and embedded debugging tools.
- Knowledge of firmware validation, interrupt handling, and hardware interface development.
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred:
- 5+ years of experience in medical devices, industrial automation, or instrumentation.
- Experience working in regulated environments with SDLC and technical documentation.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and technical leadership skills.
